CADCA, along with GHEA and in partnership with Counter Tools, invited Dr. Shelley Golden and Derek Carr, J.D., to discuss their article, “Simulating the Impact of a Cigarette Minimum Floor Price Law on Adult Smoking Prevalence in California," which was published in Nicotine & Tobacco Research in 2020. Dr. Golden and Mr. Carr presented on the effects of minimum floor price laws on adult tobacco use prevalence and levels of cigarette consumption among tobacco product users and how coalitions can effectively implement non-tax pricing policies to impact tobacco or other substance use.
