The Philippine Psychological Association (PAP) hosted its 56th National Convention in Davao City last September 18 – 20, 2019. The theme of the conference was Inclusive Psychology: Valuing Diversity and Accommodation among Filipinos. ISSUP Philippines representatives were present at the event.
The event brought together almost 2,000 psychology professionals from around the country. As part of the event, a reunion of Colombo Plan UTC Trainers and Trainees from Luzon and other regions took place.

Experiences of Women with Substance Use Disorders in Treatment Centers: An Exploratory Study
A new study by Ma. Veronica Felipe, Colombo Plan DAP Senior Adviser, and Therese C. Castillo, Global Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) Trainer from Seagulls Flight Foundation, Inc. This paper was a product of the Women’s Intervention for Substance Exposure ( WISE ) pilot test trainings which they attended together.
The Recovery Experience: Stress, Recovery Capital, and Personal Views on Addiction and Recovery in Post-Treatment Addiction Recovery
Another research paper by Therese C. Castillo, Global DDR Trainer from Seagulls Flight, with co-author and mentor Dr. Ron Resurreccion, PAP President.
