Conclusions
Alcohol Use Disorders (AUD) treatment utilization is associated with lower decompensation rates among privately insured patients with AC. Women were less likely to utilize AUD treatment visits. Efforts to reduce gender‐specific barriers to treatment are urgently needed to improve outcomes.
