Substance Abuse Counsellor

The Substance Abuse Counselor provides critical substance use disorder assessment and ongoing addiction counseling to patients with co-occurring infectious disease and substance use disorders.

They will be responsible for addiction counseling, building therapeutic relationships with clients through individual counseling and will also run support groups.

The counselor will also support data collection needs for the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) grant funding this project through accurate and timely documentation.
