ISSUP Colombia invites you to its webinar on Electronic Cigarettes and Vapes: A View from Prevention

The webinar analyses the problem of electronic cigarettes and vapes (ECVs) in Colombia, their rapid growth, the appearance of a law regulating their use in May 2024 and its implications and analyzes data from a recent study conducted in seven cities. It also presents myths and realities of CEVs and what can be done to prevent their use.
Target Audience:
- The webinar is aimed at health professionals, such as doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and parents.

Presenter:
Juliana Mejía-Trujillo, Ph.D (c)
Social Worker, Master in Anthropology and PhD candidate in Public Health at the University of Maastricht, The Netherlands. She currently works with Corporación Nuevos Rumbos as Director of Prevention and has been responsible for the implementation of several projects in Colombia and other Latin American countries such as Mexico, Chile and Brazil. To date, she has authored and co-authored more than 50 publications, including books, book chapters and articles in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
