65th session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs: Side events

Giovanna Campello - 8 March 2022

Dear friends and colleagues,

I trust all is well with you and your families. Next week, the Commission on Narcotic Drugs will take place. Once again, all sessions as well as the side events are to be held online due to the pandemic. Although not ideal, the online format means that you can all follow the sessions and the side events, even without travelling to Vienna!

THIS is the main page of the 65th session of the Commission and THIS is the link to the webcast of the plenary.

There will be also many, many, many side events on all aspects of drug control!!! THIS is the link to the programme of the side events. At the UNODC Prevention, Treatment and Rehabilitation Section we are involved in many and here’s the list of events that you do not want to miss!!! Wherever I have the link, I am providing it already.

What we will do is to post the news of the upcoming events the day before (starting on Friday) on Twitter (@UNODC_PTRS), as well as on the ISSUP newsfeed. At that point, we will have all the links and the flyers.

In the meantime, take out your calendars and note!!!

(Please note that the time is Central European Time/ Vienna time)
