ISSUP is pleased to welcome Michael Brobbey to its staff team where he will take up the role as the Regional Coordinator for Africa within ISSUP’s National Chapter operation.
Michael joins and brings his substantial experience and expertise of working internationally in the areas of international development, legal affairs, human rights, advocacy and project management with particular experience of working with governments, private sector organisations and civil society in a number of African countries.
Michael will be working with the National Chapters team, with a particular focus on supporting the work and development of the Chapters in Africa but also providing a contribution to the range of activities within the overall operation of ISSUP’s National Chapters throughout the world.
Michael begins his work with ISSUP on June 1 and initially will be working with the team to learn more about the National Chapters and to be introduced to the National Chapter family now in place or under way in over 20 countries. His induction will allow him to join ISSUP’s regional calls and to connect with each of the Africa National Chapters through a virtual face to face meeting.
We trust you will join us in welcoming Michael to this role and wishing him every success in all he undertakes in helping ISSUP achieve its mission for drug demand reduction.
