Internship at UN for students interested in drugs and crime
Description of activities:
Under overall supervision of the Chief of the Justice Section, and under direct supervision of two or more staff members, the selected candidates will be responsible for the following duties:
• Conduct research on political and legal aspects of crime prevention and criminal justice reform and contribute to the preparation of UNODC publications, background notes, reports, briefing materials, presentations, correspondences with Member State governments, talking points and speeches.
• Assist in staff members' preparation of technical assistance missions, workshops, meetings, high-level events and conferences.
• Attend and take notes at various meetings.
• Perform other tasks as necessary.
