The Director General Kenya National Youth Service (NYS) Madam Matilda Sakwa, EBS- officially opened UTC training on Substance Use Disorders conducted by ISSUP Kenya at NYS center Naivasha (17-22 June 2019). The target group, company commanders from All NYS centers in the country.
Also, present was ISSUP Kenya President Evans Oloo, ISSUP Kenya Executive member Ms. Matilda Mghoi, Head of Treatment & Rehabilitation at NYS, Jeremiah Osiru and Commanding Officer Naivasha, Alex Mwongoi.
NYS is a voluntary work and educational program run by the National Government of the republic of Kenya.
Its key pillars include Paramilitary training, National service, Vocational training, Youth re-socialization & enterprise. NYS Recruits over 50,000 youth annually from across the country.
