Counsellor Teachers Training- Kaduwela Educational Zone Sri Lanka

Another counseling teacher training workshop organized and conducted by the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board's Preventive Education and Training Division was held in Kaduwela Education Zone on Monday 21st October 2024.

Counselors were trained on micro and macro environmental and environmental factors, genetics and biological factors, as well as the initiation and progression of drug use.

The content of the UPC Co Practitioners curriculum was discussed here, including the etiology of the spread of the disease, identifying the risk factors for school students to try and continue drug use, and how to carry out drug prevention according to the development age of children.

25 teachers in charge of counseling including the current chairman of the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board, Kaduwela Divisional Secretary and Assistant Divisional Secretary joined this event.
