Universal Treatment Curriculum UTC 1 Echo Training

Echo Training - UTC Physiology and Pharmacology for Addiction Professionals

NDDCB is registered as an education provider in ISSUP International. By design, the Colombo Plan DAP will update the capacity of the NDDCB and other agencies to control drug demand and supply. Majority of NDDCB staff members have completed UTC, URC and UPC curricula and have undergone international ICAP certification. They also update the knowledge of the national institutes of professionals with the aim of imparting the knowledge they have acquired in UTC,UPC and URC seminars to other officials.

This three-day training was conducted at Embilipitiya Youth Training Center in Sri Lanka for 40 Community Corrections Officers of the Department of Community Based Corrections. Here, UTC Curriculum No. 01, the curriculum for the Physiology and Pharmacology for Addiction Professionals was learned. The program, conducted between 25-27 September 2024, completed a study period of 18 hours with full coverage of all curriculum activities.
