ISSUP Kenya meets local youth entrepreneurs interested in DDR

ISSUP-KENYA met up with local entrepreneurs interested in DDR under the auspices of Country Music Cafe through the Addictions Prevention and Rehabilitation Association of Kenya (APRAK). Discussed was prevention training, consultancy & advocacy

We were led by our President Dr. Pamela Nkirote Kaithuru, Secretary Dr. Jackie Anundo accompanied by myself Albert Muraya as PR/Media lead.

The meeting was hosted by Boniface Ndirangu, chairman APRAK. The Country Music Cafe brings together youthful entrepreneurs who have a love for country music. They are also touched by addictions in their families and have hearts of compassion to help the suffering addict. They are considering how they can partner with us and APRAK to see whether they can offer employment, internships or mentorships for those leaving treatment facilities as a way to help them re-integrate into society. They also expressed an interest in receiving training for prevention and family support.

We look forward to more such collaborations.
