It was elaborated that co-occurring disorders such as mood issues and drug use may direct towards the fatal consequences for its victim.
The highlights were given as follows:
- Salience, mood modification, tolerance, withdrawal, conflict and relapse were mainly discussed as symptom categories to rule out the need for brief intervention
- People who use substances are 120 times more at risk of committing suicide than those who are not dependent socially or psychologically on a chemical or non-chemical object
- Even the general population must know the role of involvement in education and awareness about the use of motivational communication to make it less burdensome for clinical staff
- Various studies have acknowledged that each and everyone regardless of age and status can minimize the use of digital tools for addiction and maximize behavioral control
- Addiction of any kind makes it easier to worsen mental health illness and enhance the frequency of suicidal thoughts
- Even medications like tramadol withdrawal may cause abrupt suicidal tendencies and increased emotional distress and psychological pain. Opiate crises are one of the major risks of the use of life-saving prescription pills.
