As part of a cross-sectional, observational and comparative study under development, aimed at identifying the prevalence of comorbid psychiatric disorders in drug users in outpatient treatment, information has been collected from 820 patients, attended in person or online, in units of the CIJ care network. Some 24.0% are women and 75.6% are men, with an average age of 31.4 years (σ = 10,789). The drugs with the highest impact reported were alcohol (28.5%), methamphetamine (24.6%), marijuana (18.8%) and crack (9.5%).

Among the main current disorders are antisocial personality disorder (19.6%), agoraphobia (12.8%), social phobia (10.1%), major depressive episode (8.8%), body dysmorphic disorder (8.7%), MDE with melancholic symptoms (7.6%) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (6.3%). Women presented a higher proportion of agoraphobia, premenstrual dysphoric disorder and body dysmorphic disorder, while men more frequently presented antisocial personality disorder, agoraphobia and social phobia. Among those who report alcohol, methamphetamine and marijuana use, the most common disorder is antisocial personality disorder, followed by agoraphobia in alcohol and methamphetamine users, and major depressive episode in marijuana users.
