ISSUP Nigeria are pleased to present their Fifth Knowledge Update Series Webinar on the topic of Recovery in Substance Use Disorders: The Family as a Resource.

Presenter:
Mr. Peter Adenibuyan
Mr. Adenibuyan is a Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years’ experience in the treatment and rehabilitation of clients with substance use disorders (SUDs). He is the Unit Head (Clinical Social Worker) at Drug and Rehabilitation Unit of Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria; A Founder of Patients, Parents and Therapists Forum (P.P.T.F) and the CEO of Gift of Love Mutual Support Group.
He is a National Trainer, Universal Treatment Curriculum of the Colombo Plan Drug Advisory Programme (DAP) and an International Certified Addiction Professional (ICAP).
He has regularly presented papers at local Conferences (CRISA, Abuja) sponsored by UNODC; International Conferences at ISSUP Global Conference, Nairobi Kenya in 2018; Poster presentation at Lisbon Addiction 2019, substance use in women - a growing epidemic at International Consortium of Universities for Drug Demand Reduction (ICUDDR) 2019 Conference in Cusco Peru, South America.
He is an Educational Provider of Colombo Plan (DAP) through Sound Mind Initiative. He volunteers in several committees and currently a member of the committee for ICUDDR Virtual Conference coming up from 20th – 21st July, 2021. He is a member of the Executive Council of ISSUP Nigeria Chapter.
