EDPQS Toolkit 4: Adaptation and Dissemination
The European Drug Prevention Quality Standards have been established to provide a comprehensive set of criteria to help users learn how to recognise 'high quality' prevention activities, outline the necessary structurally and procedural aspects of high-quality prevention, and support strategies to develop implement, and review effective evidence-based practice.
EDPQS Toolkit 4 aims to help to promote quality standards, and in particular the EDPQS, in drug prevention. It shares the practical experiences of policy-makers, practitioners and researchers who have used and adapted the EDPQS to help raise the quality of drug prevention in their own countries or professional context.
This toolkit is for people who would like to raise the quality of preventive work by strategically promoting the use of quality standards in their own country (or region, municipality) or in their own professional context (e.g. a particular setting).
Toolkit 4 is of particular value if you wish to:
- Find out about effective methods and ways to promote the use of quality standards
- Translate and/or adapt the EDPQS and related materials
- Develop new (or revise existing) quality standards (including funding criteria) using the EDPQS
