Convention on Drug Use Prevention
Grand Convention on Drug Use Prevention organized by Drug Advisory Training Hub (DATH) and Youth Council for Anti Narcotics (YOCFAN) at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) in collaboration with PHEC, Directorate of Colleges Lahore, Colombo Plan and INL. Minister for Energy Govt. of the Punjab Mr. Akhtar Malik was Chief Guest and VC Dr. FarkhandaManzoor of LCWU presided over the convention. Ms. Seembia Tahir MPA, Mr. Shuja Ahmad Khokar, Deputy Dir Colleges Lahore Division, Mr. Tahir Bashir, Director Training Punjab Higher Education Commission(PHEC), Mr. Muhammad Ayub Senior Advisor, Colombo Plan, Dr. ZahirJaved, Pro Rector, University of Faisalabad, Syed Amjad, Deputy Dir Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department and TV Anchor Mr. Fahad Shahbaz Khan were participated as Special Guests.
Syed Zulfiqar Hussain, Consultant Anti Drugs/Narcotics Campaign, highlighted the project The Strengthening Drug Demand Reduction Service in Pakistan 2016 – 2018 activities regarding drug demand reduction and drug use prevention. This was a unique prevention project started with the help of DAP Colombo Plan and INL.
