Media Guide for Journalists

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) has released a new guide for journalists in the field of drug abuse and treatment. The purpose of this guide is to provide journalists with fast and user-friendly access to the latest scientific research and resources. The guide provides a brief introduction to the science of drug use and addiction, information about the most commonly used addictive drugs and substances, links to up to date research and resources, and the details of additional agencies within the field. The guide has been produced to support journalists in their role of bringing scientific research to the public.
