'Men and addictions. Gender intervention'
"Men and Addictions. Intervention from a gender perspective", edited by UNAD, the Addiction Care Network, and written by Patricia Martínez Redondo and Fabián Luján Acevedo.
This document is intended to be a professional tool that helps those who work with people with drug use problems or other addictive disorders to use the gender perspective when working with men.
This proposal, as it is aimed at professionals with experience in the field of addictions, does not delve deeper into the treatment of addictions, but in the aspects related to gender issues that undoubtedly affect the initiation, maintenance and cessation of addictive behaviour in men, and the circumstances around them. The conviction of those who wrote the work is that the understanding of these aspects and their inclusion in therapeutic practice is extremely effective for the integral approach of subjective, social and relational aspects of addictions.
